Contests

From time to time a Kamishibai contest may pop up.  Whether it be with or without prizes I plan to at least list them here.  Hopefully people will tell me when they host contests and give me a link to the contest webpage.  Otherwise the contests here are ones done by me or the other members of the Mount Helicon Group for Kamishibai.  Check back here every so often to see if something pops up (Or check the forums of LJ community).

Contest Name	Status	Contest Description
	CLOSED!	This was a cash prize contest that involved making a Kamishibai based off a list of available themes.  The Grand Winner was Rikki Hyperion's "Unmotivated" entry. (Jan 2005-Feb 2005)
	CLOSED!	A cash prize contest that involves the participants drawing commercial art based on Kamishibai!  (July 7th 2005 - August 7th 2005)
Kamishibai Kiss and Pixel Doll Contest!	CLOSED!	This is a contest that involves making a Kiss or Pixel/Sprite dolls based on established Kamishibai characters.  There is a cash prize involved and it's the sister competition to the Tanabata Kamishibai Art Contest. (July 7th - August 7th 2005)
	CLOSED!	A Cash Prize Kamishibai making competition. Involves basing entries on tarot card "Page Of Cups" and judging via both popular vote and official judges. (Sept. 11th - Sept 29th 2006)
